bake at 375 Fahrenheit for 25 minutes. Switch rack top and bottom racks at half time.
Ingredients:
- 8 cups of flour
- 5 tsp salt (or 6 tsp of garlic salt = 2 tbsp garlic salt)
- 2 tbsp dried yeast
- 1-2 tbsp sugar
- 6-8 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (save some to grease your hands)
- About 4 cups of water, always at least half the amount of flour for high hydration dough
Steps
- Before getting your hands greasy, put all the ingredient and topping on the near vicinity. Line 4 18×13 inch trays with parchment paper.
- Make the dough and divide it into 8 equal balls. It’s easier to compare the volume in ball shape using eyes and hands.
- Use greasy hands to spread two balls of dough onto each tray.
- Wash hands and enjoy layer the toppings.
- Bake two trays together at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Swap top and bottoms trays at about 15 minute mark to help crust develop more evenly.
